For users without a direct username and password for their STAT!Ref subscription, there is a provision to set up a Preferences Account as a temporary login. This can facilitate access from mobile devices or home environments, particularly for those who typically log in via IP-based authentication or proxy servers. To create this temporary login, users should log in to STAT!Ref as usual, navigate to their Preferences, and activate the temporary full login account under the "Temporary Login Account" tab.
